Referee or Wrestlers?

Who’s fault was it when the referee called a DQ on Tonight’s ECW Main Event? I am prettay..prettay..prettay(Larry David reference) sure that this was not the plan, because Cor Von went back to the apron right after the count of 5. Cor Von, CM Punk, Benoit, and Burke then improvised and finished it out with Benoit putting Burke in a sharpshooter to tap out(the REAL finish).
